Welcome to our Long Haired Miniature Dachshund Puppies For Sale Page !

We would like to offer you a little bit of information about our wonderful and loving long hair mini dachshunds.
 

They come in many different colors, the most common colors are Red and Black & Tan, but they also come in Chocolate & Tan, Blue & Tan, Isabella & Tan, and Cream. They also come in several different patterns also like Dapple (spotted) , Piebald (white body with colored patches) & Brindle (striped).
 

Many people have asked us if we think that there is a difference in the short hair (smooth) mini dachshunds and the long haired mini dachshunds? and this is the way that we like to answer that question.
 

Each dachshund has a very unique and different personality, just like humans do. But as a general rule we have noticed after spending years with many different Weiner dogs that quite a few of the long haired mini dachshunds have a more relaxed and laid back way of looking at life, they are very regal and elegant in their actions, they like to spend more of their time being pampered and spoiled, just spending time with the family doing what ever the family is doing at the time. Long hair doxies don't tend to be quite as excitable and energetic as the short hair doxies most of the time, so the longhair dachshunds can make wonderful pets for younger children, and elderly families, who love to play with the dog, but do not like the dog to jump on them. All dachshunds love to be involved with you and be with you as much as possible. Long-haired dachshunds love to play and are very happy dogs, but they are not quite as tenacious and independent as most of the short hair dachshunds can be.
 

The Long hair Dachshund is an absolutely gorgeous dog, they have silky long hair (when compared to a short hair dachshund) but their hair is not usually near as thick as most people think of when they think of a long haired dog. Most Long-Hair Dachshunds never need to have their hair cut, like a poodle or a cocker spaniel would need, their coat grows to an elegant, silky and luxurious looking coat then it stops growing when it reaches a certain length. They always seem to stay elegant and clean looking not tangled or scruffy.
 

Long haired dachshund puppies are absolutely beautiful, they make happy, loving, loyal, family pets. They are very healthy and extremely clean dogs that require very little maintenance. They also love to share their lives with other pets, especially another dachshund.
